Sorry to hear it, Josh. You'll have plenty of time for shake-down.

Good luck!
I've had some crappy luck when it comes to drag days. I've always got something that comes up. I tried to get a lot done this weekend, but I got held up running around looking for the correct tap to tap the oil pan with. I need to get one of these taps somehow. No idea what size though. The "destructions" say a 1/2'' tap. Well, a 1/2 tap isn't even close. Way too small. I have a set of punches, but I don't have any big enough to roll a hole that big in the pan, so i'll need to buy a bigger punch too. I just hate running around trying to get little parts and tools like this. You'd think for damn near $8000 they'd hook a brother up with a tap and punch like vortech does. LOL

That sucks. Are you waiting for the H-pipe, or the pipes from the hot side of the turbos to the h-pipe?

no idea...I am waiting on all the exhaust componenents...also a little pissed b/c some of the fins on the intercooler were smashed in as well and they said it must have happened in shipping, so we'd have to go that route to have it fixed (which means at least a month or two of processing) so im gonna try to pull some of them out myself...just to get you a little more excited, Randy called Will on Saturday and the first kit Will had put on up at Haywoods was being dyno'd and it put down 775rwhp on 15lbs (100 octane w/ 57mm's)

Torry, I'v got a fin comb for you intercooler that will straighten out all the bent fins. I do refrigeration there about the same and we have to do it all time. I'v got different sizes to let me know.

I just got back last night. The marine ball is tonight, so I can't get anything done to the car. I'm talking to Tarah about possibly tossing the drag radials on the 97 cobra and coming down. She isn't buying into it though. She said if I had a trailer we could go. That way if I break the 97 we'd still have a ride back home. LOL

And those are some sick numbers on the twin turbo'd cobra. WOW!

03slide...that'd be awesome, im not sure what size we'd need, but if you wanna swing by the shop, just let me know and we could test a few out...

Smashed...HP sent the wrong exhaust housings (48mm instead of 60mm), so supposedly they sent the 60's off to Jet Hot today and I should see them late next week...the guy was cool about it and pretty much as pissed as we were.

I hope everything works out for ya. If you have any questions on the install, i can help ya out. I found out that I need to plug the holes that are in the cold side of the turbo. I won't be using them. So I got by that hurdle. I found the tap that I need to do the oil pan: http://www.acehardwareoutlet.com/(iw2an1fuw4lp5y45xpgjvm2e)/productDetails.aspx?SKU=21559

So that's on the way. i cannot find that tap locally for the life of me. LOL

My intake came brand new in a FRPP box and in stellar condition. Cobra emblem and all.....
