so your point is here? There is not a city in NC, or SC that can accomadate pro baseball. Eventually. So, that arguement is null. So, if, and when NC gets a team, do you really think it will take 86 years for them to win a World Series? 86 years, man. That is a looooooonnnnnnggggg time.

This is too easy...in NE, sports are personal. It defines who we are. You insult our teams, you insult us.

We feel you have no right to insult our teams because you don't even have a city that will support one!! You're not here, you weren't there in '67 or in '86...you don't understand. Will it take your make believe NC team 86 years to win the World Series. I don't know...ask the Cubs or the White Sox who have waited at least as long or the Rangers, Brewers, Mariners, Padres, Astros, Devil Rays or Rockies who have never won.

You don't have to tell us that 86 years is a long time...we were there!! My uncle and my best friend's 17 year old son were buried in their Red Sox hats and shirts never seeing the Red Sox win...Like I said, it's personal.

I know all to well about sports being personal. I grew up in Wisconsin, and have been a big Packers, and Brewers fan. I waited many, many years for the Pack to win the Super Bowl. The last time the Brew Crew was in the Series was '82 if I remember correctly. Ah, I'm just giving you Yanks a hard time. The board was getting a little lull, so I thought I would poke at you guys. At least y'all chatter back.

By the way, just got back from the track event. The temps reached close to 70, if not more than 70. Beautiful weekend, cruising the racetrack in the sun.
