when are you planning on having the car all done and back together??
the other question I would like to ask, is how do you get a computer that was designed to flow a certain air/fuel in a non-blow engine,
now comes all this boost,,,,how is its told to add THAT much more fuel?
I know it can compensate for some denser air, but not that much more, how is it done,?? "an add on chip"??

Dave, there are multiple things you can do to help change the settings. Smashed has the Mafia, 95mm MAS, and the SCT package that basically acts like a stand-alone fuel system which allows you to change many parameters. I for one am using the Revolution chip supplied with the kit on a switch to use up to 4 different settings (600rwhp, 700rwhp, 800+rwhp, valet mode)...if HP could get my turbo housings here soon enough, we'll have the car together...hope to have it tuned on the 19th

I'm not sure when it will be ready to fire up. I just keep chuggin along on it and one day, it'll be done. As for tuning:

I am going to use the stock MAF with Diablosport's MAFia to extend the range of the stock MAF. I am going to try this first and see how this works out. I think it will be fine. For everything else I am using Superchips Custom Tuning's PRO RACER PACKAGE. This gives me full control of the ECU. I'll be able to write my own timing tables and set up a MAF transfer function to keep the air to fuel ratios in check. I'm going to get some help from Randy Haywood as well. I've got a base tune through Ken @ modulardepot. I'm also getting some help from others. I'll monitor my air to fuel ratio with the wide band commander .

Instead of buying the pro racer package, why didn't you just buy a standalone like the Accel system ?

For a street car there really is no better way to go than the factory ECU. I can run my fuel and timing tables based on volumetric efficiency (factory ecu) vs manifold air pressure (stand alone). That way my car can run every bit as good as a factory vehicle yet still support tons of power. Also, the PRP is easy to use, and there are tons of tuners out there as well as other enthusiasts that use this software that can help. Also, we can all share our ideas and screen each other's tunes so everyone benefits.

I got the pan tapped last night. By looking at it, the car looks done. I am going to go over all the nuts and bolts and tighten everything up. Then I'll wire up the engine bay and run the vaccum lines.

I may have the issue fixed. It only puts a puff of smoke out when I hammer on it real quick. I'm not sure if oil is getting out, or if it's still burning oil out of the pipes. Right now, I'm running just open downpipes just for the sake of trying to fix this issue. As for the drag day, it's not going to happen. I found out yesterday that I'm going to ship out to Iraq again early EARLY february.
