That's great Rick. Keep 'em coming.

Hey, some silly questions for those of you who have done CMP before. Where is the start line? where's the pit? where's turn 1? and what direction do you drive in?
I don't want to try to learn the track and then realize I'm going backwards when I get there.

My registration packet went in the mail today!

Jimmy-You pit out right at turn one (left hander).

The start line is kinda funky...it is actually just before the braking zone for turn one.

There is probably some more useful information there.

See ya soon

Jimmy

Backwards is the fast way remember... lol

Actually like has been said brakes are a premium and the left front tire takes the abuse. Alot of hard sweeping right handers. Plan to switch front tires after a day if it is dry. Oh and did I mention the brakes.

I've got suspension goodies coming next week. Going to a full Maximum Motorsports coilover setup on the front and rear. Bilstein race valved front and 2K Cobra R shocks on the rear with beefy spring rates. Hopefully it'll help me a bit more in the twisties.

Glad to see you're gonna make it. Should be a blast!

Craig

Coil overs will be cool... sounds like business is good! One of my z06 friends went that way, but in his case he really should have spent the money on a driving school

Business is getting better. I think everyone is starting to "let their hair down" and spend a few more bucks than they used to. I hope the economy keeps moving for everyone's sake. It's been a tough 2 years for most of us retailers.

The pits are to the left of the parking area (the 9 squares you see) The Start finish line is right at the pit area of course. If you follow it clockwise, the turn 1 is immediately below that straight adjacent to the pit area.

Pics of turn 1.... http://www.americaniron-east.com/200...G_4197_JPG.jpg

Hope this helps.
