I just got a Bell Sport 3 helmet for Christmas. A very nice helmet for HPDE type events and it's only $300 with free shipping from OG racing. It has the SA00 rating.

I would first give our vendors a shot at the same products using our club discounts. OMP would be a good place to start. Check the SCMC vendor section for your needs.

Like Don, an open face helmet that is rated SA2000 will be minimum requirements for next year so I'd get the go ahead and get the most up to date helmet.

Just for clarification, the Sport 3 helmet is a full face helmet...but don't worry Tony...you'll still be able to hear me yell SIUNARA when I pass you at CMP!

I plan on running the 94 at the event. I'll probably have some cooling ducts on it and a tune up and that's it. That'll probably be enough for you to never see me again once I go around you.
