cruise

Josh, I will be cruising through G-ville on my way to Ware Shoals for the gathering. It will probably be around 7:15 a.m. or so. I think we are scheduled to leave out of Ware Shaols around 8:00 a.m. Give me a yell. I will be coming from Greer, down 85, to hwy 25. We could meet somewhere on the way!

Jason (Infamous), which route are ya'll taking from N.C.?? Let me know, maybe we could cruise down together in a convoy!!

Thanks Tony. You should be getting a registration form from Robert Wilbanks (friend of mine with a Mustang) and Michael Evans (another Mustang) and one of the former GAFBA officers, Dwight Dunbar (69 Camaro). Should be a good turnout!

Rock, I will be meeting James and a few of the Cheaters Inc crowd at Aiken at the shoneys. the more I thought about it the more sense it makes for me to cruise from cola to aiken instead of from cola up to g'ville then back down to aiken area. but I will defiantly be meeting you there.

Heck yeah!!! ABout time we had a little smack talk in the old man forums.

What will you be driving at the event? If you have been there in the past I am sure that we have met but make sure to introduce yourself... We are not competitive people at all but love racing so we will have to get to it for a coke?

For those that do not know us do not hesitate if you need anything that we can help with while at the track. We do not mind at all and are more than happy to help anyone out if we can.

Dang I am already excited!

Josh,

I sent the info to Firme tonight for the store, he'll get it in there so not to worry. If all else fails, just come to the gate and we'll give you the early bird price.

P.S. We usually have several people pay the day of the event.

I'll be on my hoosier 335/35's for the day. I spin them pretty bad but I have cut a few 1.7's with 'em (no better than what I could do on nitto's (pre-turbo) though). If there's any prep on the track it will be an improvement from where I've been running for sure.

they dont call it "The House of Hook" for nothing. but sure you know that from running there in the past. I have run my best times there out of all the tracks I have run.

335 are pretty damn big, what size rim are you running those on?

I second that, I get most of my personal bests at Carolina Dragway. Usually because the 60ft numbers are much better with their traction.

I hope I can get some decent grip. So far I haven't had problems on the initial hit but about 15-20 feet down the strip the car goes all over the place.
