Arm restraints are not required, but I would recommend them. They are cheap and non-intrusive.

Tom is right, we would like the instructor to be protected at least as well as the driver, but the ultimate call is with the individual instructor. If you want to be safe, setup the passenger seat the same as the drivers.

Tony
I just paid for the car show. I updated my info in the store and it kept my old mailing address and said my number was S.C.M.C. #1402 which it is 1142. I recorrected my address a second time and then it took it.

GingerMan is just a few weeks away, and there seems to be an amazing lack of trash talk in here. Have we all become "mature"?

OK, it's time for my annual plea for newbies to join us at the track.

Dear Newbies,

Gingerman is a very fun and safe environment to test out your car and find
out what it will really do. All the people there are wonderful and helpful. The instructors are great(even T.G a.k.a. Mr. Spin and D.R. a.k.a Sandstorm)

Don't worry if it's your first time out. There's always someone on the track slower than you (i.e. Mystic Cobra w/S.C. plates) Heck, we even let ladies and farm trucks out there.

So come on out and join the fun

p.s. Let the Trash Talk Begin!

Larry,

I have been having e-mail problems all week. McAfee keeps telling me I have a "system error" and sometimes my mail doesn't get through. I got your e-mail for the MI list and the order form from the show.

If you guys really want to help me out, you will go to other Ford boards and post the event and let everyone know it is open to any type vehicle for the "on track" portion. That would be a tremendous help so we can move on to other things.

I wonder who has the Mystic Cobra with SC plates ?? I'd say it will be a 300 rwhp 94 Cobra that will be attending and passing a 2001 Gray Snake... I'm also getting with Brian to put SCMC members who have some experience in one run group!

Very cool Lisa!! I'll be looking forward to meeting you. BTW, I'll be in a Mustang!

This sounds like we might top the fun we had last year? Is that possible? I don't know? But it will No Doubt be a blast! I can't wait.

All I need now is a car that has a driver's seat and some wheels and I'll be all set!
