Beware of the alter ego...she's baaaack.

Thanx Edmond for giving me my own personality. I guess if I'm driving for the one-armed bandit on this cruise I should at least have my own screen name.

****UPDATE-****

I am waiting on the last piece of contract to be faxed to me so that I can sign it and fax it back, but as things stand, we will be staying at the Radisson again.

I was able to haggle the price down to $105 for the night + $11 for parking. They are especially being hard asses since there is college football.

We will be a few blocks from 6th street. Those who have gone in the past, should remember it well.

The best price I got from other downton hotels with a parking garage for the snakes was $169 from the Hilton and $140 for the Omni

As soon as I get the confirmation faxed back, I will post it here with a number to call and the code to give to get the group rate

Thanks for everyone's help, support, and patience..

Thanks to Rachel for researching what bands are playing that night..we should be able find something as entertaining as last time. For info go to http://www.austinmetro.com/musicdat02.html and go to the bottom of the page

And thanks for Matt and Chris from Austin for helping setting the days activities....

Im glad it's finally coming together. The hangout that Coleman mentioned rocks. No ricers so far. Two weeks ago there were over 75 cars. The only thing beating down big attendance has been the weather. We had three terminators there last week to represent. It would be cool to have the big guns there one Saturday. Everyone would crap to see a 2k cobra R and the kenny belle terminators.

We couldn't find anything about a marathon, so I think we are safe.

This is the only thing I could find:
Old Pecan Street Fall Arts Festival

This annual arts & crafts fair takes place in the middle of 6th Street in downtown Austin. Artisans from all over the United States attend this fall event to display and sell their homemade art and craftwork. Local musicians provide the entertainment.

When: Held each fall, the 2004 dates are September 25th and 26th from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Where: The arts festival takes place right down the middle of East 6th Street from Congress Avenue to IH 35

Edmond
