Mrs. bolt-on here tonight, getting hyped for Gingerman. We were there last weekend to see Dean Smeltzer win the AI race (great post of his checker flag). For our event in Sept. I will be bringing my '65 tropical turquoise fastback for the car show. Hope to get it out on the track during touring laps (pretty face, nasty snarl)...but not a track car. Larry has his Cobra for that. Have promised Tony my time on Saturday for the car show, but will have my helmet and will try to get out on the track as much as I can, yes another bum looking for a ride
Looking forward to seeing everyone in September.......

Well my "mind" aka Jayne just let me know that it has decided we will be staying in a hotel. My "mind" does not like the idea of sleeping in a tent every night after long days on the track which I understand. I wonder if I can weld a receiver hitch on the rear of my flatbed trailer and bring a popup.
Now talk about the east TN Beverly hillbillies coming to town can you just picture me with my F-250 pulling a 42' long flat with the Z06 and Cobra on it and a popup trailer behind rolling into Gingerman!?!? I will have to stop at the designated exits for double and triple semis to get fuel and food. Oh this is getting better and better.

I already made my hotel reservations...not that I am not an outdoor person but I want to relax, watch TV, and absorb the moment. I'll stay at the track as late as possible but after that, it's back to the room.

If you are going and will be taking pictures please contact me by email or PM. This is going to be a great event with all of the activites taking place and we need several people willing to provide pictures to the club in order to cover everything going on.

Thanks!

This is a new hotel, and it should be very nice. If you have any problems or questions, please contact Chirag and he will help you out.
The address is 1741 Phoenix Rd. South Haven. When you take the Phoenix Rd exit, it is just a little ways west.
I hope this answers any questions you have. See you at Gingerman.

We checked it out while spectators at the American Iron race a couple of weeks ago. It is a nice hotel and only a few more steps to Sherman's Ice Cream than the Hampton . Reservations made.

I'll be there as usual, taking track photos. Catch me for taking other off-track candid photos...

Just got back from SVOTA GingerMan a week ago. Looking forward to September!!!

I'm finally going to get to see Damian's car first hand. Don't worry Damian, I got plenty of point by practice on street tires a couple of weeks ago.

So far we're still planning on putting up the tent-mahal. Unless the weather looks uncooperative. Looks like I better brew some Honey/Ginger Beer in honor of GingerMan.
