If you are going to run your track pads all the time, then some compromises have to be made. The higher temp race/like pads dust more squeal more and wear rotors more... than the more street friendly lower performing(lower temp range) pads. Something that I recommend to every one(except 1st timers) ..... is Brake cooling through ducting.......... It is essential!!!! ........... and cheap and easy. Plus it will allow the successful use of a more street oriented pad for the "less hardcore" user. Here is an excellent source.. http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...d.php?t=295546

I agree with Jimmy on the brake cooling ducts.
![]() Also, for the price difference vs. performance difference, I would also look into 17's. The tires you picked should perform failry well. As far as TWS.... do NOT early apex turn 7 ![]()

Looking forward to seeing the Texas crew again. Your AI/CMC contingent did you proud at the NASA Nationals last week. Had the Texas flag flying high over their compound and did well on the track too!

Well we had a great time at the 2006 Cobra Nationals at Gingerman!!
![]() ![]() We are looking to make reservations and I was wondering about the Best Value Inn in Angelton. We stayed at the Best Western last year and it was nice but the Best Value is less expensive so anyone down there know how it compares to the Best Western??? |
