We plan to get there late afternoon Friday. If we don't T&T I guess we'll just have to bench race.

I didn't hear anything back from the track today. They have my cell #, if I havn't heard back over the weekend, I will call again monday.

Other than giving Tony the shirt count, I have no details on the shirts other than what has been posted here. Tony, you have more info?

We appreciate all the offers for help, it is amazing how everyone in this club is so willing to pitch in and help out, we will be taking you up on your offers. .

Thanks all, Brian

I can help set up friday untill the kids get out of school (9am to 3pm). After I get the kids we may be back at the track. My son and I can be at the track on saturday as eary as you need us. Will bring van or Cobra depending what you need.
Do you need anything done on thursday? Larry and I may be able to help with that.
As for the car show Larry I not going to do anything fancy I paid to show more to bring money into the club. It wont look much different than the last show we went to. The more cars there the better our club looks

That's what I am talking about. If we have a big event then we'll maybe get some magazine coverage and go from there!

You'll be able to order your shirts in the store this week coming up only. There is a message coming out to the club today! Edmond should get the shirts up in the store today or tomorrow...

My won't look much different either. I have been speading the word as much as possible to try and promote this event. I think its great to get with others that share the same taste in such a great car.

Never heard back from the track. Called again today and left another message.

Will update when I get ahold of them.

Brian & Tony,

Are we allowing the instructors to give passenger rides at Gingerman?

We have a club newbie that is considering a Gingerman visit to meet some
club members and see the track. He doesn't think that his car will be
ready for the track in time. I would like to invite him out but I didn't want
to suggest a passenger ride if they are not allowed. Let me know. Thanks.

While I know this may be a hike for some of you, it is also the one opportunity you will have to meet more SCMC club members then you ever have before from all parts of the country. The event will have an open track school, a car show, and the "Cobra R Challenge Race" where you will get to see Cobra R's running wheel to wheel in conjunction with the AV8SS. Also, if you enter the car show or track event you may participate in the "parade laps" during lunch for free. This is a controlled atmosphere with speeds not exceeding 55 on the track. You will be in a parade with other club members and participants from the event. On hand will be the Ford Racing trailer with display cars and merchandise for sale. The show trophies will be plaques and some of the most unique type you have probably ever won at any show. I hope many of you will put this event on your calendar for this year. Caravans are coming from Charlotte/Raleigh NC, Boston MA, Wyckoff NJ, Knoxville TN, and Wannamingo MN. If you know you will 100% be attending, please post here!

As long as the track doesn't have a problem with it (don't know why they would, but that is one of the things I wanted to confirm with them).

Trust me Brother, we're used to it!!

After all, you DO drive one of the "Older and Slower" R's.

I'm in for Friday night T&T. I'll be running some old, hard Pilot Sport Cups so anyone looking for some drifting lessons, just follow me?!?!

Z06, Schmee oh six! If you were talking about something fast, I might be shaking in my boots! I'll beg borrow or steal a Ford GT and we'll go head to head for a six pack of Busch Light! I know that's all a "Poor, Starving Implement Dealer" could afford to wager?!?!

Looking forward to seeing you Buddy for our FIRST event together for the year! In case you didn't realize?!?

Is there a Saturday dinner planned for this event?!?

Saturday night will be the bbq like we had last year. Which reminds me, anyone that has equipment to project videos onto the side of a trailer or something simular so we can all watch, please speak up.

To the rest of you, bring videos that you think others might enjoy, whether it be doing something silly, a close call, good race footage, whatever.
