This is gonna be a fun event, Tony. I'm really looking forward to getting back on the track. The last time I put my helmet on, I think, was at Lowes in August, 2002!

I just hope the Z06 drivers point me by when they should!

Man, I may have to bring a manure spreader to CMP rather than my car, it's getting deep already.

Don't drag me into this doo fest. I can't drive and I admit it. I will be at the back of the pack cruising along with no worries and let the big boys to the battling.

Come on Brian we know you are the master of DOO. I understand though you're afraid to get spanked in the Z06 so you're bringing that 5.slow 95 R to the track!

Hey Tim - I'm genuinely curious - what are your lap times at CMP? I figure somewhere in the low to mid 1:50's (1:52-1:55?). Just curious, not trying to stir the pot!!!

The dodo doth fly

Stirring the pot a bit are we Tim? Nothing like a little "friendly" competition, eh. Really gonna be a fun weekend. Look for another ZeeeOooo from Columbia to sign up soon.

Tom, I see you're one of the locals. I work in West Columbia and live over on the Northeast. Do you ever go to Fat Boys for the cruise ins on the 2nd Sat of the month? First one this year is April 10th. Lotta nice people and cars.

See Ya

Pat

Hey Pat,

I used to go to the cruise-in every month when I had the Cobra. I'm getting a "special" paint job done on the Focus next week that will be show worthy, so I'll be there for the first one in April. It will be a true hot rod paint scheme!

I remember when the Z06 first came out, there were a few at the cruise-in. I met and talked to a guy in Columbia that had just bought a black one and somehow scored a SC license plate with Z06 on it. How cool is that?! You don't know that guy, do you? Real nice guy to talk to.

Anyway, I'm over in West Columbia right behind Grecian Gardens. Home of the road construction! LOL!

Looking forward to meeting all you Z06 guys at CMP! If I can get the nerve up of being a passenger, I'll probably ask for a ride.

Don't know the bk Z06 you speak of but we usualy have 6-10 Vettes from our club show up at Fat Boys unless there is another show going on somewhere. I'll be looking for that wild yellow Focus around town.

See ya at the track

Pat

Don't look for a yellow Focus... look for a red one. I wish I had a yellow one though. They didn't start making the SVT in yellow until this year though. Mine's a 2002.

But if you do see it, just don't call the fire department! (little hint there!)

You must be referring to someone else. Give me a mountain dew, a donut, and a track and I am happy. Like i said, I cannot drive........at least that's what you all say.
