Looks like you had a good time. Not too many turns and some nice straights to open her up on...

Thomas, everyone will probably go out to eat together on Friday night. Thye do have go-karts at the track, maybe they'll still be doing that before dark, not sure??

I know it says we are meeting at the hotel friday from 4-7pm for sign-in and tech on the event sheets, but is there enough room for trucks and trailers at the hotel? I was planning to drop the trailer at VIR friday (if the gates are open and they are allowing that) because saturday morning will be a madhouse trying to get everyone through the gates, signed in, parked, unloaded, and ready for an early instructor meeting, etc....

OK,
We'll plan on getting to the hotel in the afternoon and go from there. Tony, let me know if you need any help with anything.
Thomas

Sidenote... I discovered that one of my rearend bearings was REALLY bad and had it replaced. The bearing fell apart when taken off the carrier. Glad I didn't "discover" this on the track!

Exclamation

I AM ENCOURAGING EVERYONE THAT POSSIBLY CAN TO BRING YOUR CAR BY THE HOTEL FOR TECH INSPECTION BEFORE DROPPING OFF AT THE TRACK!!

It makes the morning go MUCH easier and faster and YOU WILL GET ON THE TRACK SOONER!!

aside from the fact that the peeps teching in the morning want to get out on the track too, and not miss their first session!!

Ken,

You are an instructor, you don't have to have your car teched. It should have already been done. Everyone else has to get teched.

Thomas,

I will not be there till tomorrow night around 10:00 - 11:00 p.m. I have to work tomorrow and so I won't be able to cut out till after 7:00 p.m. It takes about 2.5 to 3 hours from Charlotte with a full load on the back of my truck. Glad you found your bearing problem before it ruined your weekend!

Tony ... you are actually going to tow that red clunker behind the red clunker? Did you finally get the brakes fixed? Hope so, cause 155 at VIR with no brakes should be better than the kink at 135!

I got the factory "H-pipe" in the back of my truck as it was the first thing I loaded up today. It's not an X-pipe..but an H. It's in very good condition and the cats worked on it before I took it off so you should be able to do a direct bolt up/plug up.

I'm ignoring you Mike...BTW, if you're going to be harassing me all weekend, I expect to get some of that steak/chicken you usually bring and cook for lunch! That stuff was really good at CMP.
