For the heads, if price doesn't matter tooo much, then I'd go with AFR's, they will also make the most power. If you can get the GT-40X heads for cheap they will make more power than the cast iron GT-40 that came with the Cobra.
Here is a chart of head flows:

For a cam I would go with the Crane 2031, which is made for the Cobra that uses the 1.72 Cobra rockers. If you are going to change the rockers to 1.6, then the Crane 2030.

Looks like I'll be doing the AFR 185's.

I run GT-40X heads with some minor port work, 1.6 rockers, and an F303 cam. It makes awesome power above 3500 rpm, and pulls all the way to redline. It is very streetable, but took a little bit of getting used to at first, and dyno tuning. Sometimes i feel like i would like to have more power a little lower in the range for around towning. The muscle car sound from the cam is awesome, i love the lopey cam. I am going to have another chip made for it soon, i will post dyno results when i get them.

Most of this setup was on the car when i bought it. With the products that are out there now, i would probably go with a little bit differnt cam that made more low end torque, and AFR's.
