Hey! My name is Dan and I just purchased my first Ford this past July. I guess I can say this is my first REAL performance car since 3rd generation Fbodies are dogs.

The car already has a few mods done to her and also just had to rebuild the tranny. The 3-4 gear selector plate broke and the 1-2 shift fork was cracking. The transmission was a fresh rebuild but the previous owner did not adjust the Pro 5.0 shifter correctly. A few hard shifts and a 1000 miles later.. POP! Oh well... at least it was a simple fix!

Alright! What sold me on this car, other than looks and a good friend getting me addicted to them through his, was the list of mods done to her. Seems like everything I wanted to do was already done! Here's the list...

Cold air intake(brand currently unknown)
BBK 62mm throttle body
Gutted catted x-pipe(brand unknown)
3.73 gears
Pro 5.0 shifter
FRPP(I think they are) short tube headers
Some crappy mufflers that blew up on me
Steeda G-Trac suspension stages 1-3
Stainless steel brake lines
Brembo cross drilled rotors
Line lock(brand unknown)
1998 Cobra rims

The things that I want to now work on is the paint, projected headlights, miscellaneous interior upgrades, racing seats or recovered Mach 1 seats, exhaust, and maybe a different set of wheels.

One of the things that is bugging me about the car is the lack of a signature plate. Someone ripped it off the valve cover before I purchased the car. Does anyone know how I can get ahold of another signed plate?

Nice SN-95 you have there.

Try calling 1-800-Ford-SVT to see if they can get you new tags, but I don't know if they can.
