I have 3.73's and I get anywhere from 24-27 mpg on the highway...as long as I stay off the throttle!

If you want milage. go to 3:55's for S/C applications or 3:73's for a little more help. 4:10's will kill your milage.

![]() And when I am just cursing I think it is around 10. Because I idle at 40-psi fuel press and when you get on it shoots up to 80. ![]() Its that damn boost-a-pump. ![]() I would agree with Joe (bluethunder) that if you have the money 4:10 are the way to go, and if you don’t then 3:55 aren’t bad either. Good luck. 03-04 Cobras come with 3:55 gears.

how do you know what your mpg is when you are in boost? and you only get 10 mpg on a regular basis? your car has major issues. i got 24mpg driving to San Antonio w/ the a/c on and the cruise set at around 80-85mph.

I have 3.73 in my 5.0 (rev limitor a lot lower then the 4.6 mod motor) & I think they are perfect. My mileage did not change at all, except when playing around a lot. Since the supercharge I have picked up a set of 3.55's. If I had a mod motor I would go with 4.10's. That is unless you do a lot of highway driving, then 3.73's.

When I get in the boost a lot I only get 150 miles on a tank. And when I don’t I get 200 miles on a tank. Those are the numbers that I get most of the time I changed my first post if i makes you happy.
