Smile A few in-car clips from 25MAR06 Drag Day

Granny shifting @ 6400, bone stock suspension, 93 Octane, 3805 lbs. on Jackson's scales.Oh yeah, virgin MT ET Street DRs

First Pass with BadMoFo
2nd Pass
3rd Pass
5th Pass - with bigdog1280. I reset the Raptor to 6100 so I could attempt to powershift... Well, it didn't go so well - but did get a 128.66 trap outa the deal. Cold track after waiting 90 minutes, air was 52*. My hopes were dashed for the ten slip on the unexpected on its face bog. Next time...

Big thanks to Rick & Linn of ATS for all their support over the years you guys rock!

Sweet, so James are you going to line up next to me next time. I believe it'll help us both run better. You being faster than me will help me try to keep up, or I'll try too hard and miss a shift

We sure tried to pair 'em up didn't we? Something funny happened up front & the next thing I know you're two cars ahead out of sync.

Are you gonna run True Street @ Commerce in two weeks? We could get-r-done there & I need some pressure there, too. Last time there I made a very funny video out of it...

I would love too, but I don't have the money or the time right now. Maybe later in the year I'll be free and we all can get up together one day

You are running stock irs? No irs brace or anything and you are running et streets? If I put et streets on my stock rear end I would snap my halfshaft. that is y I have to run nittos or bfg TAs. how much tq do you have with the wipple?

OEM suspension - stock IRS except it is braced. Be nuts not to do that, imo - even on OEM rubber. But zero benefit in aiding a launch it just keeps your pumpkin in 1 piece.

On snappage... I've been leaving 5k or better for well over a year on ET Street bias ply recently replaced & before that BFG DRs. I expect the shafts to go all the time - it just never does. I also have OEM 10-spline input shaft. All the weak links are there. I've heard of people snappin half-shafts leaving the teller's window at a bank - so don't ask me why mine are holding. But also don't tell me you will snap unless you have snapped. When it occurs, fix &/or upgrade.

On an aborted dyno run (wheels blowing off @6k) she made 575/523 - Rick says still 600-610rwhp but I've yet to be back with the new MT DRs for it to hook.
The car is daily driven & not roughly... until I back into the waterbox

I am wating for my half shafts to snap so I can upgrade to level 5 and put in irp bushings. For some reason I have a huge amount of rwtq. I guess it is in the tune and the sct mass air. By the way your #'s are great .

Tempt fate a few times when you're prepared to upgrade & up your launch rpm & drive it like a $3k dollar bracket car. You might just be surprised at how well she holds together - or you might be upgrading.
