please im not a racer my no means . but why is it when people see a cobra coming up on them (just minding my own business in the fast lane) they have to jump in front and punch it,till we catch up to them then they slow down in the middle lane. does it make them fell better about being in front of a cobra. can someone explain this to me please

It is an ego thing. I have been tailgated and passed by minivans that could not do the speed limit on the local streets (there is always someone who must go faster than everyone else.) 93KingCobra is on the money with that. Perhaps that VW commercial is something to look into (the one with the bull horns), nope. It does get annoying from time to time especially when the other driver does stupid things that may lead to an accident simply because you are in their sights. Had some guy in an M3 follow me on the highway and was persistent in gettin me to race him which included passing me and then getting in my lane and stopping so that I would pass him. What an a*****e. They always find a way to get into your face in some way or another.

Hey neighbor , Thanks, I like the wheels too but now have 10th anniversary wheels for every day driving. The BBS need new rubber so I am holding off on using them until I get more tire funds. I basically hang out at the WOTSRA cruise in Macungie than the MOPAR MADNESS Trexlertown shows. At least they repaved the lot so I will have to make it to one sooner or later. There is another show as well I may start going to at the Ritz in the Fairgrounds (every last Sunday of the month). Plenty of parking there as well as Macungie show. It is getting close to that time when my friends and I start cruising over to Island Drag way, let me know if you are interested in heading out that way. If ya see me at one of the shows come on over. I am also interested in heading out to the CJ pony parts customer appretiation day (down towards Harrisburg) on July 8th. Let me know if you are interested in that and probably make a cruise out of it.

I know what you mean I get it with the Cobra, but when I am in my wifes car the Roush it is even worse and hers is a Stage 2 just a GT motor and an Auto at that, she tells me all the time guys getting all stupid cutting her off trying to race.

I did have some fun the other day these guys in one of those newer Subaru's kept playing and chattering the blow off on the turbo beside me I was just casually cruising well they were already at the light as I pulled beside them, I pushed in the clutch and just gave it a couple of good revs with the OR and Borla Stingers looked as if I scared the crap out them, and I just kept cruising along .

That Roush sure looks intimidating.... I would probably want to race it too

I think those that challenge are typically attracted to sounds similarly how bugs are attracted to bright lights... Once they hear you a mile away they can tell how close you get by how much their car is vibrating. I was once followed by some friends out of a parking lot and they told me that their car basically shook when I pulled out. One thing I like so far about the 01 exhaust is that I have yet to be bothered by those operating on one brain cell (may be too early to call since most of them are comming out of hybernation at this time).
I only have the exhaust on the car for a short term and will return back to the SLP exhaust soon enough since my gas milage is really getting worse.

I just hate when the ricers try to do one of those fly byes, after your long past them, or rev at you with that annoying sound.
