If the link above did not work, the other one on this post may....
Apparently, it is designed for a centrifugal type superchargers to provide a higher compressor speed at lower RPM then drops down to a lower speed when the RPM's increase. Also the design was proposed for engine displacment down sizing. Not what I hoped it would have been. For those with centrifugal type blowers this may be of interest but how to implement it would be a different story on its own. http://www.greencarcongress.com/2006...v_to_demo.html I have seen clutch type systems for the roots type superchargers (typically found on Mercedies cars). I have even seen kits to make your own supercharger by using a ducted fan with an electric motor. An electric supercharger would probably take more current to drive it than the alternator is capable of providing.
