Long distance negotiation
I recently purchased a 99 Cobra convertible. My wife actually made the deal for me, but I talked with the dealership via email and limited phone contact. You see I am currently in Baghdad, Iraq and made the deal from over here. I got my loan, negotiated the deal including the trade in from here. My wife basically brought the check to the dealer and signed the paperwork for me.
I am anxious to get home to my recent purchase (as well as my family of course). I should be home by Christmas, not exactly the best time of the year to first drive the car, but hey it is a great present for me!
