Thank you / SCMC/MGW Drag Day

I would like to thank the organizers and sponsors for the SCMC/MGW Drag day that was held last Saturday, 11/10/07. I was there with a group out of Charleston, SC. Most of our attendees were driving Lightnings, but we did have a 10 second Cobra in the group and an 11 second 65' Mustang. Most of us are in a group called Carolina Horsepower and hope to add significantly to the attendance for your Spring 08' event. We cooked for our crowd and I shot several videos that I will attach a link to in your video section.
Thank you again, and I hope to be racing my 2002 True Blue Lightning at this event in the spring.
Best wishes,
Larry Carson

Great to have you there. Bring some more of those fast Lightnings next time, I used to have a white L and loved it. Nothing like running someone in a truck and winning!!!

Only problem is time might get tight with the TNT guys if you do decide to do that but I think it would be fun. After all I know a Cobra club puts this on but it is called SVT day

I was thinking maybe to not have the ladies race since we don't get enough participation and have a Lightning race instead??

Either way it wouldn't matter because the number of vehicles would be the same since the L race participants would only be able to run in the L race therefore leaving the open race with less participants, make sense??

Sounds great to me I think you would get plenty of intrest from the L owners if this was offered, and I would agree the ladies turnout wasnt that impressive unfortunatly. I dont bracket race much but Im up for it every now and then!

That's a good idea. This is your clubs' event, but that would be a nice gesture and I think we will have quite a few more Lightnings at the next event. There are alot of lightning owners from some of the Lightning sites that are planning on attending the spring event. Whatever you decide is fine, but thank you for thinking of us. When you have a firm date for the spring event, would you pm me or post it in our events section of our Charleston website: carolinahorsepower.com ?
Thanks again,
Larry
