Newbie from CT

Hi all,

My name is Angie and I'm from Connecticut. I'm a student right now at western CT state university, and I'm currently in the market for a 2003 or 2004 Cobra, so I registered on here in hopes of expanding that search, and, for the when the time comes, tech info.

I recently got out of a 1999 Camaro Z28, my 1st car. Loved the thing but always loved the Terminators, and the time has come to make the switch. It was a great, fun car that gave me a good handle on how to control these kinds of cars. before selling the z28, I didn't want to be without a car, so I picked up a 2002 Corvette Z06. The thing is awesome, but I still have a soft spot for the Cobra! I'm probbaly going to give my dad the Z06 when I find a Cobra.

Anyways that's enough about me. If anyone knows of a good place to look for Cobras (around the tristate, and including surrounding states, like MA, RI, PA, possibly VA, MD and DE), please let me know. I am already on SVTperformance, but there aren't many Cobras nearby.

Thanks for reading; looking forward to posting and learning more about these cars.

Welcome to the forums and hang around a while. Numerous people have switched to the Corvette from the Cobra so it's unusual to find someone going in the other direction. But then, most of them that switched, didn't own a Terminator so they wouldn't understand.

^ I get that a lot, and see the Cobra-to-Vette switch be made often.

I like the Z06 a lot, fun car, but it's just not what I want right now, you know? If I didn't want to do anything to the car, and just have something all around fantastic, I would stay with the Vette. However, I'd like to do some mods, and I'm dying to have a supercharged car. I wanted to go turbo on the camaro, but that just wasn't realistic, espeically money wise for me.

Finding one will be a bit more of an issue I think! I found that Z06 fast! I've been keeping an eye out for a Cobra, not ready to buy at the time, but there just wasn't much. Winter I guess...
