Gingerman car show & cruise

Hi SCMC members,

The Summer is almost over and Fall is coming with Winter Cobra storage just around the corner. I hope you had had a fun summer with your Cobra. The last IL event this year is the SCMC Track event at Gingerman in South Haven, MI. If you have never experienced running your Cobra on a road track, I suggest that you sign up at the SCMC web site and go to Gingerman. Driving Instructors are available and the track is very forgiving. If you have never been to a track event, I suggest that you come out and see what it is all about. There will be a Car Show at Gingerman and we will be doing a cruise mid afternoon. We will be driving along the lake front road, stopping a fruit stand or Winery, or what ever else seems to be an interest to the group.

Gingerman is an easy two and half hour drive from the western suburbs of Chicago. We will be leaving Saturday, September 20th, around 7:30 a.m. from our house. We will be heading up the cruise in the afternoon, doing dinner with the track group at the track, and returning home Saturday night. If you would like to drive out with us, or meet us in route, just drop us an e-mail or reply to the post.

if I can get my Cobra done in time I would like to go. I live in homer glen so I am right off of 355.
