SVT Certificate of authenticity

Hello Everyone just traded my 01' Cobra and 08' GT for a 09' GT500 Performance White with the Red Stripe Appearance package. Wondering if you can get a certificate from Ford on the New Cobra's.?

the 09 production numbers will not be out for about a year. Afterall the 08 production numbers just came out

Thanks 2 both of you, I am old and don't think too good sometimes, I didn't think about it being __________ of __________.

Anyway thanks again, also the ordering manager said the red stripe package was limited to 1000, heard any #'s llike that?

The red appearance package is a limited number vehicle but I thought they were 08s?

You Know I don't have a clue. I do know that this one has it and it was a $1650 upcharge. Changing horses in mid-stream, I shouldn't have but I got on it a little the other night it pulled Ok, ran it up to 6K RPM but it didn't pull like I remember my 03' pulling. Does it take a while to break-in?

Yes it does. At about 5k miles, and she should start to loosen up. Scratching tires in 3rd...

Takes about 15k for the full personality to come out.

Congrats on the red pkg! It's nice. The Cobra Certificate is worth the expense. They did a first class job on it.

Really nice to have a place to come and get some good information. What bolt on do you think would help the most? Thinking of a cold air kit but if I have to buy a tuner it would be getting a bit steep and I just got my insurance bill

If I owned a Shelby, I'd get a catback system, a JLT cold air kit, and a computer reflash (tune).
