Running in the Grassroots Motorsports Ultimate Track Car Challenge
Last weekend I was entered in the UTTC at Virginia International Raceway.
http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/events/UTCC2011/ Here's my video from when all 70 cars were on track. They then broke us into groups A & B based on times. I wasn't at my best, I've had better lap times at VIR. The heat (100+) was really hitting me. But there were lots of really cool cars there, and you get to see most of them pass me in the warmup. Despite there being a few of the new Boss 302S models, I was the only SVT there. The #44 white Riley was the fastest of the day and the yellow Mustang was a Ganassi COT and 3rd fastest. Here's a video of the warmup session with all cars out. I ran faster in our timed sessions. 2011 Grassroots Motorsports UTCC at VIR-warmup session on Vimeo Here's some pics from on the track: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Glad to see you made it out to wave the SVT banner.....way out of my league! It must have been very humbling to be in such a fast crowd. I'm thrilled with a 2:15 - 2:20 lap, but when guys are doing high 1:40's...that's just insane!

2:02's is for sure hauling the mail.On a nice cool day I see 2:00 or a little quicker. For a factory built racecar with that kind of weight is pretty impressive.
