I have since found out that there is a shipping delay for quality purposes. They are waiting until they have several hundred built to do a statistical sampling of problems. Once they are satisfied they will ship all they have built at the same time. Probably the end of May.

Cheers,
Robert

I think this is a good idea. Last time they DIDN'T do it with the Thunderbirds/LS. They had to turn the trucks and trains around to fix the water pump problem they had. They need to get enough Cobras to have a statisical sample. Even though I wish mine would hurry up and get here!!!

LOL...your husband is crazy....a boat??? It doesn't even have wheels unless you count the trailer. It is a "rear" drive vehicle though...lol...good luck.

Yeah, but you can't drive a Cobra in the water just ask BD!!! Sorry about that, BD, but it was a perfect opening. You wouldn't respect me if I let one like that go by.

Just got the call today from my dealer. I have a VIN and a build date of June 11th! I should have it by the end of the month. They will call me when they get their first cobra and promised me a test drive. It was part of the first guys promise to let them have it for a week and allow all of the ones of us who ordered one to take a short test drive. I'm glad I was second! Not sure if I could have made the same deal.

Cheers,
Robert
