1st Annual Atlanta vs SC SVTOA GRUDGE Match

This Event has been postponed to sometime in the October or November. I will post more information when a date is set!

The Atlanta Chapter of the SVTOA has teamed up with the SC Chapter of SVTOA to put together a GRUDGE Match race at Carolina Dragway June 15th, with June 29th as the rain date.

SCMC is invited to attend and participate, as are all Ford powered vehicles.

Cost is $35 if you register before June 1st. For pricing and information, please see http://atlsvtoa.3w-designs.com/svtoagrudge.htm and get your registrations in early if you wish to attend! It should be a blast, and I hope to see ya'll there! You can literally race up to 12 hours for this registration fee!

Hey guys and gals...this is just a reminder that if you want to attend this event at the cheapest possible cost, mail your checks soon. The $35 is only good to the end of the month!

Thanks...

There might be some confusion here. ALL SCMC members are invited, no matter where you live!

Ok guys, this is the last reminder...the $35 registration is only good until the 31st, so get those registrations in if you want to attend. Registrations postmarked on or before May 31st will be accepted at the $35 price. After the 31st, the cost is $40 for registrations postmarked on or before June 7th. After that you pay at the gate and the cost is $50.

We're going to have a trophy for low e.t. and best eliminator and will probably have a variation of a "poker run" for those of you who just cannot race without the chance to win some money.

Come on down and join us. We're going to have some Lightnings and other fun vehicles to play with!

I already have plans for the 15th and the 29th is the same day as the Modular Shootout. So I'm SOL for both days.

BTW, mid June is a bit HOT for drag racing (especially mid day). Blowers just LOVE the heat.

Well, I enjoy running no matter what. Actually, the heat is part of my plan to keep them blown pick-em-up trucks in sight. I need all the help I can get.

We are there to have a good time, not to break any national speed records. And I still think Carolina Dragway at 85 is better than Silver Dollar at 75, and may get the chance to prove it.

Sorry you can't make it. Maybe the next one...

The weather is one of the reasons I hadn't planned on running. It's just to dang hot for a supercharged engine. Now November...
