Radiator cap

Hey! Recently (in the last week) I have started to smell antifreeze when the car is hot. No leaks or drips in the garage.

Popped the hood yesterday and it was wet around the radiator cap and leaking.

Suppose the cap is bad? It is original... Unable to hold the pressure anymore?

Thoughts?

Chris

The caps are cheap and should still be available from any Ford dealer. I'd start there since the caps are cheap. OEM radiators are famous (notorious) for leaking where the end tanks are attached to the cores. Check your hoses too.

You should be able to borrow a loaner/rental pressure tester from autozone or advance auto to verify also.
