2018 SVT Superfest/Shelby GT350 Meet -- April 21-22, 2018 -- Virginia International Raceway

Come and join the SVT Cobra Mustang Club, Track Club USA, Shelby GT500 Club, Shelby GT350 Owners Association, and Modular Boss for their annual SVT Superfest to be held on April 21 - 22, 2018. You do not have to be an SVT owner in order to participate in the event but if you want to drive on track over the weekend, you must be a member of one of these two clubs.

The event will be held at the world class location of Virginia International Raceway in Alton, VA, just east of Danville, VA. The Fest will consist of open track, an SVT, Shelby, Mustang, and Ford Show, Saturday night social with guest speaker.

Also available will be on site karting, skeet shooting, portable dyno by Pro-Dyno, and more....

If you plan to stay at the track, you will need the following information. Call extension 101 and ask for Paula Barker. She will take your reservations now.

April 1, 2018 - What happens:

1. First 75 people who register get an event shirt or whoever registers prior to the April 1, 2018 cutoff date if it exceeds 75. Please do not ask if you get a tee if you register after April 1, 2018 because the answer is negative. There will be a list of people posted in this forum as to who gets an event tee, the first 75 people to sign up for either the car show or the track event are eligible.

2. Early bird discount ends. This year we are offering a one day discount prior to April 1, 2018. This is the first year for us doing that so take advantage of it while it lasts. Two day discount ends and goes to the full event price of $550.00. Take advantage of the discount prior to April 1, 2018 as no discounts or event tees will be available after April 1, 2018.


Venues are as follows:

On Track Pricing = $550.00 for two days with a $60.00 discount if you mail a check prior to April 1, 2018 $275.00 for one day with a $25.00 discount if you mail a check prior to April 1, 2018.
Car Show Saturday Only = $20.00 Includes your car load of friends/family
Spectator Car load of people = $20.00
Parade laps = $20.00
Event Tee = $20.00
Parade laps and tee shirt save $10.00 = $30.00 prior to April 1, 2018
Hyperdrive - (one track session with your car and an instructor, must register prior to April 1, 2018) = $60.00
Saturday Night Banquet = $20.00 per person - located at the Danville Auto Museum

Green - Novice - Mandatory Instructor
Orange - Intermediate - Instructor Optional
Blue - Advanced - No Instructor - passing anywhere the wheels are straight with point by
Red - Super Advanced - Open passing, no point by necessary

It was a beautiful day to have a track day and car show! Tony made everything perfect, even the weather! I hope someone can post videos of the show cars on the track doing "parade laps" somewhere.
