Smile A night on the town...

Coming home from work last night I rode through the usual street scene around the city I live close to. I went to our usual hangout spot, talked for a bit... then me and a friend went out on the prowl. In the following couple hours we whacked:

02 Subaru WRX
01 Mustang V6
94 Mustang GT (that looked like a Cobra)
01 Roush Stage 2

I have to say that the Roush was the best of all of them, but actually not "techincally" a kill of sorts. We were behind him and pulled over to the other lane and was about 3/4 of a car length behind him and he took off. We ran him back down in 3rd gear and were proceeding to pull him in 4th when he let off. We got stopped at a light where they were turning and he asked "what kinda V8 ya running in that thing?" My friend hollered back "it's a 4 cylinder!!" The guys in the Roush said "yeah right" so I proceeded to rev the car up and their jaws dropped

And no... all this wasn't done in the Cobra

BOOST... the REPLACEMENT for DISPLACEMENT!!!!

The replacement for displacement has "Whipple" cast into it.

Chuck Norris built my Cobra. It runs off the tears of small children and makes 10,000 horsepower. He calls it his "street version."

No Tony, it was actually white. It had the tailpipes cut off and some other mods, not sure just what. We ran from a roll in second gear, and was a good car or two in front of him when I blew the intercooler hose off I did it three times all together and discovered the next day that I had the intercooler hose clamp too low, and it wasn't holding the inlet to the intercooler down. I don't guess it likes a great deal of boost when set up like that. I'm not sure how much Iwas running... the guage stops at 18 lbs

I added a few more to the "whacked list" last night:

Another 02 Subaru WRX
96-98 Mustang GT
94-95 Firebird Trans Am
Some ugly Toyota Turbo MR2

Nothing like the whistle of a turbo
