Question 1993 Cobra Axle Help

I have a 93 cobra, With moser 31 spline axles. I want to do a 5-lug conversion this winter, I don't Know what axles I need. Someone told me a 31 spline axle for a 94 and up will go right in, Is the 93 rear end the exact same as the 94?? I have also been told that the SVO, has the same rear end as the 93 cobra?? Iam wondering if anyone has done this conversion to thier 93, I want to put 95 cobra-R rims on it, and I also need to figure out the backspacing, because they oiffer 2 different backspacings.

the only thing i know for sure is that the 94 axles are not the same as yours, they're longer. hope that narrow some choices down.
doesn't the m2300k rear disc conversion include axles?

Yes the kit includes axles, but they are 28 spline, and i have a 31-spline detroit locker with 31 spline moser axles, so if i can get away with just getting new 5 lug 31 spline axles, and new rotors that will save me alot of $$$.

call Moser. They are very good and know excactly what you need. The 31 spline axles you want are not available from any production Ford mustang as they all came with 28 splines.

The rotors MAY be able to be redrilled for 5-lug but the axles will not be able to be redrilled.

here's an idea and i totally forgot about it.

try mustang parts specialties in winder GA. they have used conversion kits, and can probably hook you up cheaper than new.

maybe the site is www.stangparts.net or www.stangparts.com or something, not sure, i'll check it a bit later....

tmc, glad you made it home in one piece.....
