Woodhouse Ford & Chrysler Annual Racing School Get Together!!! Invite!!

For 8 years we have hosted a get together for Gearheads ( guys and an occasional gal ) that want to avoid the Winter Blahs and get back on the track. We go in as a group to negotiate more track time, not a reduced rate- course we do get some extras like lunch, etc. We found out long ago that flexibility is the key, and we have folks who start saving the day we get back , so they can go the following year. We claim to be :
a) Lousy fisherman
b) Crappy golfers
c) Rotten Riflemen
d) All of the above
e) Pretty damn good racers

Check out these two websites to see the school we will be attending, and the Hotel we have reserved.
www.racenow.com and www.berryhillcenter.com

Reservations need to be made at www.racingschools.com ( 877-463-7223 )ask for Robt or Carlos and tell them you are interested in the Woodhouse Group.

Keep in mind how many of us will spend 2,000-10,000 to make our cars go faster, but we won't invest in the best area to spend said funds, ourselves. Every track event you go to, the number one area that is stressed for improvement is in honing our own skills. This is why a professional school is a bargain. The Bertil Roos school allows passing on Day One and in the Novice group there is no liability.

Price is $2695 , but we have breakfast at the Hotel and lunch at the track, so only dinner is your obligation. The Hotel is honoring their old rate, but tell them you are with the Woodhouse group. Please feel free to call me, or email me with any questions.Last year we had 10 folks on a waiting list ,so we are going two different times this next year.

March 17-19 Advanced - prior 3 day school or active race license ( Bob Woodhouse is your host)
March 24-26 Novice - ( actually will be run like an Intermediate School ) and I iz da host.

This is a personal invite to SVT Cobra members and friends, so ..........give me a call. The track is Virginia International Raceway - arguably the most beautiful track in America!

Hi Bill. Just in case you don't know who I am, I was the one with the lone Porsche at MAM.

I sure wish I could make this school. Sounds like you guys have a great time and get to hit the track. But, I've had the Skip Barber School booked for quite some time so there is no way I can make it.

When is this school taking place?

March 17-19 for Advanced drivers ( have had a 3 day school in the past ) or March 24-26 for newcomers- or folks who have a little less track time. I will be in charge of the second group, and we will actually split things up and have a more advanced split with some of the guys. Some guys want to stay in the novice group ( actually more like and Intermediate group anywhere else ) as they can pass on day one, and there is no liability.

I definitely remember you , and it was nice of the Snake Brothers to let you & out to play with a Miata and a Porsche.

Change to March 17-19 for both groups. We can accomodate up to 26 drivers, and this way we can have a party ( no charge ) on Sunday night, courtesy of Woodhouse. We have too many folks that want to hang out with friends they have met before, that we are all going to go the same time -- they split us into two groups anyway. Give me a call if you are interested, as we have 16 already signed up ( initially they wanted us to be at this level , but they are bringing extra cars.

They will set up a bar just for us,at the Hotel, and the Sunday get together is on Mr.Woodchuck ( I will be happy to tell you about this nickname, ha), and it will also include some food. So with breakfast provided by the Hotel, lunch provided by the track, Sunday food by the House of Wood, looks like you will only have two evening meals to even worry about.

PS - Did I mention they are setting up a bar for us each nite?
