the scoops actually keep the engine cooler on hot days and long trips. crevini's sells a "ram air" kit to go with the hood, but I opted not to get it as I plan on a CAI and s/c someday. This pic was taken by Mike at Road Atlanta in April of 2002

I do get ALOT of compliments on the hood/car, it totally changed the appearance of the front of the car.... especailly as I feel the hoods on the 99/01 cobras was week (not starting a flame). here is one more from RA

Thanks Bonny, I can't wait till I can take it back out of the garage.... and on to the track again. My wife and I are planning on the Lowes speed way event on labor day weekend for my "distance" event.... and I'll be doing 5-6 auto crosses up here, and of course NHIS, Lime Rock, and Watkins Glen all at least once this year!

YA WHAT HE SAID!! Your car is the reason I went looking for an aftermarket hood. I don't want to make my scoops functional as it will create lift on the front of the car and at the speeds I will be going any lift is a BAD thing!
