Im looking for 12s n/a.
So far my best is a 13.1@106.8 with a 2.0 60' on street tires. My mods are offroad h with dumped flows, WMS CAI, 4.30s. Cant wait to go back and get a new best with my newly installed Steeda Pullys. ![]()

well, unfortunately my 99 's best is 13.43 @ 102 mph. If you get a set of drag radilas then you should be inthe 12's with your current set-up. My drag radials gained me 4 tenths of a second when I switched from street tires.
Let me know how it works out if you do it?

I am a really bad driver or do gears make that much difference?
I've got a 96 with 3.73 gears, pulleys, CAI/MAF, shifter, hi-flow H, flows, street tires. My best was a 13.82 at 102.8 w/ 2.0 60'. Oh, and don't knock my gears, I rarely drag race, mostly road race, I mean go to driving schools.

I'm still fighting issues with traction and still have not been to a dyno. Coming soon, though...

I don't have a cobra but...
Bob Cosby and Ian Mullane can be found from time to time at www.stangcrazy.com in the Factory Stock area, or Real Street for Ian these days. Both of those cars have been in the 11's with bolton's and no internal engine work. they are both 1999 or newer but the same tricks work for 96-98's. Also Shane H. can be found at www.midwestfords.org. He runs low 12's with a bolt on 98 Cobra that really doesn't have that much done. You can check with these guys, I'm sure they will help you out if you ask.

I have an update for my Cobra. I dynoed 278/273 this weekend. I know Tony, I'm still working on it.
![]() I haven't been back to the strip yet. My goal is 300/300. Short of a blower, what's left besides headers and a chip? I have a little emissions issue that I'm taking care of that may give me a few HP, but not counting on it. I am also going to change the fuel filter, since I never have. I posted the graph here Current MODs: exh: Mac Hi-flow cat H-pipe, Flowmasters. int: K&N, Pro-M MAF, AFM Powerpipe eng: Steeda Timing Adjusted 14 degrees, underdrive pullies ign: new MSD wires, plugs other: alum driveshaft, 3.73 gears

![]() After headers and a chip there isnt any other boltons that I know of. One thing I would look into is porting and polishing the heads and Intake. There is a very reputable guy on the corral thats does the intake for $250. ![]()

I posted my emissions troubles on the thread "chipping it". I guessing that this may be hurting me power-wise. But I don't know for sure.
When I get this worked out, I'll keep those tips in mind, thanks!

With most of the mods in my sig minus the D&D k-member, a-arms, and 4.56 gears(i had 4.10's) i turned a 12.37 with a 1.72 60' time. I will be out at the track this week shooting for 11's

I have to agree with colt .45 your numbers are low. I only have a cai, long tubes with o/r h pipe as my only real power mods and I am setting at 297 rwhp and 300 rwtq and my a/f ratio is so rich it is off the scale. once you figure out your chip problems (havent read other thread yet) hopefully that will find your lost power.
