Who's going to VIR this weekend?
Hey everyone,
Who is going with NASA this weekend to VIR. I will be there working/interning. I'll probably be all over the place but I should have some down time to say hi! I wish my car was ready...dang front cover leak!!! Oh well, I'll just have to catch a ride with an instructor or something. Later Dave

Umm, pardon my ignorance, , but what is NASA? and the VIR schedule shows that its not a spectator event, so if I wanted to come watch, how would that be possible?

Sunday is supposed to be cloudy and cool, and I don't have any plans, so if you see a red vert on the hill by the U shaped turn, that would be me. What time you guys get under way and can we roam the paddock area?

I'm there in the Intermediate group. Don't see familiar names among the bunch, other than some of the BMW M3 guys from last run at Lowe's MS.
J. Pearson, I have my camera mount now and will bring a camera. That last tape you made for me with your camera was AWESOME.

Sorry, if I ask too many questions, but I need to have my bases covered in order to convince the other half of my party to tag along. How much would it cost to be a spectator? I'd check the website, but your link doesn't work and the link from virclub.com isn't working as of now (I might be behind a firewall here at work, not sure) Plus, it's no fun to pull up somewhere and bust out with my Yao Ming accent, "CanIwrite check?"

Just tell them you're in someones pit crew if they ask. I think it would be ok to use Dave Stanfield or Jimmy Bost as driver names, right guys. http://www.virclub.com/ the NASA site is down for some reason.

Yeah, I'm only going to have one person with me, so you can use my name.

Muahaha, they'll never know. Besides, I always carry my 150 pc tool set in the trunk. I'll be out there Sunday morning.

LOL, if you need 'em, you're welcome to use them. Got this nice Craftsman set for Christmas so I could get rid of my smaller, rusted set. They need to be broken in.

J. Pearson, I won't have my camera, battery problems. Though, I may have time to go shopping Saturday if the track is too wet.
