MSD Ignition Box placement

Hello everyone,

I had a question on where some people have put an ingnition box. I am not sure where to put it. I think i good spot would be mounted up side down on the panel below the air filter, in the fenderwell. I think this would be a nice hidden spot that it could get a lot of air. i guess my only concerns would be maybe some wetness from the road if it rains? would that be a factor with the box. also would it generate so much heat that i would be pulling hot air off it as the air comes thru that opening to the air filter? it seems like it would be far enough away... anyhow, any ideas would be appreciated. i suppose the underside of the panel below the battery might be just as good of a spot.

FWIW, I mount mine inside the car on the trans tunnel, but mine is a full bore race car. You do want to keep it dry and away from heat as much as possible.
