Victory Lane Karting event - Saturday Apr 26th!
For those of you familiar with Victory Lane Karting in Charlotte, NC, we are having a "SuperPrix" on April 26th (saturday) at 3pm. This is the same event we did last year in May.
Anyone over 16 and has an addiction to speed is welcome to join us. It's a 2 hour event (off and on) in which there are 3-4 ten minute sessions. Practice, Qualifying, and the Final Race. Price is about $50. I'm trying to negotiate something a little better right now but it will be between $45-50. Not bad for what you get. For those not familiar with Victory Lane Karting (VLK), it is an INDOOR road course track in Charlotte specifically for running their hi-speed karts (top speed 30mph). It's a tight course and absolutely loads of fun. There's no boredom usually associated with the regular go-karts you find. These are low sitting karts, with slicks setup to take corners FAST. Helmets are required and provided by VLK or bring your own. It's an absolute blast and you can't say you didn't have any fun from trying. This is directly after our Yellow Mustang Car Show in Gastonia, NC. After the show we are heading in a long convoy to VLK. Anyone is welcome to come, bring the family as there is a waiting area to watch thru the glass and video games to play. Email me at ymr@carolina.rr.com if you plan to come or have questions.
