use a Water-blade first and you'll be amazed at how much faster and easier your drying task will be.
I've been using both for years....

Actually, If you use a leaf blower first, you will get all of the water out of the wheel lug areas, under the lenses for the lights and other tight areas that a towel or other cloth type material will not reach. been doing it for years, it makes drying off the rest of the car a sinch!

LOL @ Tony! I'm sure the neighbors all congregate to watch you "blow off" the Cobras ..
Ditto on what Tom said. California Waterblade, followed by a 100% cotton, clean white towel.

Ssssh, I try to do it when no one is watching or do it in the garage so I won't embarass myself. I learned this method from some guy that was a multiple show winner.... don't ask me his name, I'm having a senior moment.

I would have to agree with Tony.... I have been using either compressed air, or a leaf blower for years. It takes the majority of the water off and I do it right outside... who cares what the neighbors think. None of them like the fact I own a cobra anyway... (if you ask me, they are jealous their mini vans don't stack up) I follow up with a leather shamois. It never leaves any moisture behind, and really shines up the clear coat.

I have been using a shop vac for years to blow the water off the car. I have one of those shop vac that has a detachable motor to be used as a blower. If your paint is good it will remain safe to use (it all depends on what nozzle you use - too much air may result in peeling of paint if it is bad). I have even used this method on a car with decals on it (factory installed that is). I usually wipe off the remaining water with a terry cloth towl or one of the absorber towels. I usually let the car air dry for a day before I wax it, that way any remaining water in the crevises and such has a time to evaporate. Definately use a blower because it will speed things up. Note: if you blow off your car inside a garage, you may kick up dust off the floor or walls which will end up on your paint.

i am laughing so hard. ha ha. i would laugh if i saw the guy next door taking the blower to his 1984 dodge mini van. ha ha. I never though about taking the blower to the car. good idea guys. it will not mess up the dunlop paint job i have? these absorber clothes you talk of are they the ones in wal-mart that are in the tubes? and the squeggie things you use them on the body as well as windows? no little lines like the windows leave at the gas station from the squeegies.
