There's big debate over the use of a STB from anyone. I like the stut tower mounting of the KB piece, bad thing is you can't use any 4-bolt CC plate with it. The other downside to me is the way it attaches to the firewall. You'd be pretty much stuck with KB's "optimized" upper strut mount (AKA "caster plus"), which is not exactly adjustable. If you have no interest in adding an adjustable plate later, it should be fine.

STBs other than Kenny Brown?

Just wondering, who else makes a STB for '03 Cobras...Maximum Motorsport? Others? I have a KB on the way, but want to put the best one in, of course. Recommendations???

I'm sure MM has one in the works, but the KB is it for now.

Steeda released one Friday. But I am sure they are the same as the KB. They are only necessary for the convertibles.

would the steeda or kenny brown strut tower brace be better for suspension and getting power to the group?

Honestly, a STB is from any manufacturer is going to do neither. Without seeing a list of mods you currently have, I'm going to throw this at you:

Take 50 bucks of that STB money, order a set of rear IRS subframe bushings from Maximum Motorsports or a set of 4 Lower Control arm axle end bushings from Energy Suspension. (don't have that PN handy) That will help keep the rear planted, control some hop, and keep the rear end from wagging like a new puppy under hard braking.

The only thing I've gotten out of a strut tower brace that was noticeable was a bit less cowl shake than before, 3 busted knuckles installing it, and a nifty black powder coated obstruction while changing plugs.
