17x10.5 afs 03 cobra wheels wrapped with 315/35/17 nitto drags??

What my question is will these fit without any customizing? A ladie at afswheels told me something about a bolt on irs thats going to rub on tire?Is this a problem?just need some help before ordering wheels and tires? please help! I have a 2003 cobra

Yeah, I heard that too, but I'm not sure that it really does. If it does, get a small wheel spacer for each rim.

hi,

they fit. but, while the suspension is not under load (at full drop) the tire will come into contact with the IRS bolt head. You will see this when you have the car on the lift as you put the wheel/tire on.

again, it is not a problem if you don't do any jumps or catch any air. Alot of people are running this wheel tire combo without any spacers. If you are concerned about comming in contact with the bolt head (which could happen if flying over railroad tracks, etc..) then simply modify the bolt head by grinding it a little bit or by switching to a rounded button head bolt.

I'd stay away from the wheel spacers if you can help it. I've heard of two individuals who had spacers and over time it (a few months) allowed the spacers to wiggle enough to cut the lug bolts off. If you get spacers there is a thread on that talks about these:
