This sucks......

Okay, I was just accelerating a little fast but this WRX(?) came up on me and really scared me as far as taking my 94 Cobra on. In the end I beat him and I was at the wrong rpm but this guy kind of grinned as if to say "not to bad huh?" but the feeling of I wasn't going to take him was there for a second. I think it was an Acura or a Subaru but I wasn't sure? (They all look the same to me)

Not a gracious kill. I have to do something to Sizzler especially after I saw Jeff running 14.6's at the strip. I think in the Fall I am going to take the 94 down to run against Jeff and Greg!

Tony, the little ole' Scoobies (nickname for Subaru's) are a lot quicker than most people give them credit for. There are a lot of mods available for them now... Turbo XS being one of their biggest manufacturers if I do recall. The WRX's aren't that bad in stock formation, but the new STi version that will be on the roads in the next two weeks will really be forces to be reckoned with... 300 hp/300 tq, all wheel drive

It's like I've learned through tinkering with my own turbo car... BOOST is the replacement for displacement!!

The replacement for displacement has "Whipple" cast into it.

Chuck Norris built my Cobra. It runs off the tears of small children and makes 10,000 horsepower. He calls it his "street version."

Tony, the WRX's are pretty competitive on the open track courses, too. I've had fun playing with them.

Hell, I had a WRX give me a run for my money on my 1200cc Harley, that stock, (and it isn't) is supposed to do 0-60 in 4.8 sec. Keep in mind as fast as those WRX's are, they are about the ugliest things on four wheels since the Pontiac Aztec. You can't say that about Pony snakes.
