Rutledge, TN Car Show
Hey all you East Tennessee and West North Carolina folks. Rutledge is having their annual car show on July 19th. Registration is from 3pm-5pm and the awards are gonna be around 8pm. There will be cars of all types. The money goes to a good cause and it is a fun event. If we can get a few cars togather we can promote the club.

Additional info
The show in Rutledge will be at Rutledge High School on the 19th of July with Registration beginning at 3:00 pm-5:00 p.m. Awards will be around 8:00. The proceeds go to the Volunteer Fire Dept. and Rescue Squad. Entry fee is $20.00! This would be a good opportunity to show up with several SCMC cars to show off the club. From what i hear they always have a good time and try to make some group photos after the show.
Let me know if you are interested. |

The local SVT dealership is right across the street from the high school as well. Probably will have their 95 R model at the show.
The place where I work is on the old road behind the high school, about 1 mile to the west. |

Rutledge is Northeast of Knoxville. You go out Hwy 11W (Rutledge Pike) about 30 minutes. Close to Morristown.

There was a good turnout. I was the only SCMC member as far as I know. There were three other Cobras, a new 10th anniversary edition (Charlie's) in red with a Cobra R wing, another red 03 and a 95 white hardtop that was not stock! It was a good show and three of the Cobras took home awards including me.

Bitn03 has me handing out applications at every event. Two at Knoxville Dragway week before last, one to a neighbor (saw them driving home, with their new to them 01, and followed them home with an app.) and two at the Rutledge show. I have not seen where any of them have actually sent them in however.
Oh well I will keep at it. Maybe I should try to get them to complete and give to me to mail in? What do you think? |
