Dragging Days

Can anyone tell me some of the events where we meet to drag at the local tracks? I live in Rockingham county which borders Virginia, about thirty five miles north of Greensboro NC. I would like to know if anybody knows of a drag strip ( 1/4 mile )
other rockingham NC that would be within 100 miles of me. Also, are there any upcoming events that are close to me I could go to in VA, NC, or SC areas? Any help is very much appreciated.

thanks for replying to my thread. However, I was interested in finding out info on any tracks that I might not know about or may be missing. I am new to the track scene, and am trying to get more familiar with it. But I do appreciate you telling me where to go on the web site, as I am a new member. But, if you can broadin my knowledge of tracks within 100 miles or so of Eden NC, I would greatly apprecite it. Again Thanks.

I see that ya'll are going to be at the Jackson dragstrip on Nov 8th for a little fun. I've been told that you may even let a few outsiders run with those speedy Cobras. If so I would like to come down with about 5 or 6 of my buddies from our local Corvette club (mostly old farts that still like to put their right foot down) to meet you guys and to make a few runs down the track. If this is ok with you please let me know where to find some details and a registration form.

Pat,

Of course you guys are welcome to come to our event. We already have the Ga F-body club coming. Some other GM guys from TN are coming to duke it out with Jeff Schmell of MI and his 03 Cobra. It looks like we will have a lot of competition in the Fall!

We'll have a registration form going online in the next month or so! If you thought CMP was fun, wait till you see the group that goes down to Jackson for some straight line acceleration!
