New England Mountain Cruise-October 4-5, 2003-- Take your Cobra out of NY and NJ and go and join the New England group for a fun run through the mountains of New England in ME. Here are the details:

Location: Well-Ogunquit Resort Motel, Rt.1 Moody, ME

Dates: Oct 4-6
Cost: $45 per night for Fri-Sat night stay, $65 for just Sat night
Includes: Lodging, Buffet breakfast, Use of BBQ grills, Cruise and Show & Shine
Activities: Sat morn/early afternoon - Cruise through foliage in surrounding areas (cruise route will be provided). Sat late afternoon/eve. - Show & Shine - BBQ

The motel has a DIY car wash across the street for show & shine. There is a fresh seafood shop next door to buy lobsters/steamers for the Sat BBQ. We usually take orders and get a group rate on the food. The shop will cook the seafood so it comes ready to eat. The grills are there for anyone who wants to cook something else. People are encouraged to bring along a favorite dish that they can share with the group. The rooms all have a microwave, and a refrigerator so you can store and cook food there.

The motel is centrally located near beaches, antique, and outlet shops, sightseeing. Kennebunkport, the summer home of George Bush is nearby. It's great area with a lot to do. SCMC members can make reservations directly with the motel. They can mention that they are making reservations for the SVT Cobra Mustang Club Weekend and the will get the club's rate.
