BMW Club Driver School at CMP....
We still have student slots available for the Sandlapper Chapter BMW CCA's 5th Annual Fall Driver School at CMP in Kershaw, SC on Oct 25 & 26, 2003.
Please go to http://www.sandlapperbmw.org/school/...fofall2003.htm for info and application. You can download an app, email it to me, and pay via PayPal!. If you note on the app that you're from the SCMC, I'll make sure to waive any/all late fees. School fees are $290 for BMW CCA members, $325 for non-members. Our instructor base is full, so please don't inquire about instructing for us. For those of you that are advanced (top) level driver school drivers, I invite you out for Oct 24th's Orientation Day. Basically, it's an open track from 8am-5pm with the exception of lunch. You MUST currently be an ADVANCED LEVEL STUDENT OR INSTRUCTOR, NO EXCEPTIONS, to participate. References will be asked for and will be questioned. If you fit the required description, send in a student application from our web site with $125 for the day. Please register with us ASAP as our student count is low and we would like to hold this event and at least be able to break even. Thank you, and I hope to see some of you there. Best regards, Ronn Hale Driving Events Coordinator Sandlapper Chapter BMW CCA |

If anyone out there is on the fence about this one, fall over the fence. The Sandlapper BMWCCA puts on an EXCELLENT show. Their events are extremely well organized and always run like clockwork. You'll be very happy with the amount of track time that you get. Also, the level of instruction you'll receive is excellent, as their instructor corps are some of the best on the East coast (or any coast for that matter). Just run like crazy if you get a wily guy named Ronn Hale.
I cut my teeth with the Sandlapper BMWCCA crowd and I was very fortunate to learn from such a great group of people. As you can tell, I fully support their efforts to put on a first rate drivers school and would recommend this school to any driver at any level. Regarding the Orientation Day, if you are an Advanced level driver, you'll be hard pressed to find a day where you'll get more track time. It is WELL worth the dollar plus a nickel charge for Friday. One caution - bring extra brakes! Shugg |
