Hello from New Guy and quick question

Greetings all. I don't knowwhy it took me so damn long to get hooked into this site. Met Tony months ago outside Rooms to Go near Carolina Place Mall (my SCMC app is in the mail tomorrow).

Is anyone out there running a Borla cat-back on an 03. Shopping around for a x-pipe/header combo and wanted to solicit some input.

Welcome to the club! Borla makes a great product. Pricey, but great. Magnaflow is a less expensive and offers a great sound too.

Lisa...that's another one for me. You have a long way to catch up to me....lol.

Anyway, gald you finally made it Mike and Michele. Yes, I still have your cards but I did give up on you because it has been so long. Wish you all could join us this weekend in Gatlinburg. If you can try to come up and run with us this weekend.

This is always the most fun event on the street we ever do!

Looking forward to getting new members every day!

Tony

Congrats on your choice of Cobra, Mike. Crystal and I also drive an '03 yellow droptop. Our exhaust: Bassani ceramic headers, Bassani o/r x-pipe, Magnaflows...it sounds awesome! We also have the 2.93" blower pulley w/ Diablo chip, NGK iridium plugs, and K&N filter. Pro-5.0 shifter also. This week we add: Accufab wide oval throttle body and UPR cold air intake. 442 rwhp, 467 rwtq

Exhaust... hmmmmmmm.

I definitely want to do this, because the car is so quiet in stock form, I can barely tell it's running. I want to do a cat-back, but I absolutely hate loudness. Anyone have any tips for the least noisy systems of the bunch?

Check out my mods. Steeda sells a cat-back made by Borla(it has Borlas name on the tailpipes) that is cheaper than buying under the Borla name.
