My first mod, and some piccies

Got my Pro 5.0 in, and UGH! It was horrible. I had to lean down to shift, the thing was so short. So I got the bushing kit and mounted the stock shifter to the Pro 5.0 base. Seems better, but I have yet to drive it. I think I may heat the stock handle up and give it a little bend to get it right where I want it.

Oh, and they seriously need telescoping steering wheels on Cobras. I just can't get the right driving position.

Anyway, the pics:

Enjoy!

I went with the Hurst shifter and its the same length as the stock they make a shifter for it its crone and flat with holes in it I don't know if I like or not but shifts alot better. I'm going tomorrow to get get exhaust done dropping back to the first cats and X box with megaflows I am using bigger tubing custom is saving me about 500.00 dollars from from buy a kit . plus I am getting bigger pipe. I just installed a Densecharger cold air intake its a piece of crap and hard to put in I don't know how I am going to get the filter off to clean it Its stuffed inside the finder I have to undo the weather guard in the front finder to get to it and don't know what its going to take to get it off. If I find better one I dam will change it . one good thing its protected from the heat of the engine department I like your color mine is that light gray.

Shifter Handle

Hey cydewaze
What you need is the MGW adjustable shifter handle. It will do what you are wanting plus you can adjust and play with the position until you get it where you want it.

Hey, they also make a billet fuel door, ala Bullitt! I think I'll be bookmarking that site.
