the front shots look kinda like the mustang II's. I'm back and forth on this design. I love it in some pics, hate it in others

I've been looking VERY CLOSELY at the suspension in the new stang. They could have done better, but I like it, A LOT! The new 3-link rear, although some improvements could be made, is leaps and bounds above the quadrabind rear they have now.

The front is MUCH better with a true McStrut front and a better L-arm design that looks a lot like the BMW design. The front swaybar end-links bother me a little, but that just leaves something for the aftermarket to fix.

The floor looks much stiffer as well with a better boxed tranny tunnel and more lateral reinforcement in the floor. I REALLY want to see under the car to see what they've done for stiffness there.

It's exciting!

Tom, where did you see pics of the suspension? Could you post the link?

anybody see the video of the Mustang?? the g/f saw it but I can't find where it was.

I think I like the new design, but seeing it in person will be the true decider.

I don't really like it. at least from the pics and video clips on bananna's site... I'll have to wait till I see it in person to make up my mind tho.

'05 observation, rear suspension.

The outboard nature of the shock mount places the body of the shock in very close proximity to the inner wheel flange. This will limit putting a larger tire and wheel width to the outboard side. Why did they out a SUV tire on it? Looks like a 255-55-18?

You're close... it's a 255-45-18. Stock is a 235-55-17

I didn't notice the shock mount being farther outboard. I'll have to look at that again.
