shop recommendations for roll bar
I'll be in the greater Charlotte area this Saturday and was wondering if there was a preferred shop to visit. I'll actually be near Asheboro visiting a junk/salvage yard but it's not that far away and I need to get out in the car!!

If you want a bolt in for a vert the Autopower is a good way to go. Install takes about 6-8 hours or less with help. No trim to cut just the carpet and the rear seat support. This is a do it yourself project. Here is a link to a great hot to do it someone put up.
http://wingnutmotorsports.homestead.com/rollbar.html If you want a custom welded bar contact Tom Lewis at Banana Motorsports in Columbia, SC. http://www.bananamotorsports.com/ He is a member and post as 98banana. Everyone on here can attest that Tom builds strong stuff!! If you go the bolt in route several of our vendors can get you the Autopower. I got mine through Maximum Motorsports on a club purchase. Good Luck ![]() |

My roll bar is a custom one made by Jay Marshall from Jay Marshall Racing, in Monroe, near Charlotte. Check him out.
