2004 Mustang Week Car Show

As some of you have read, Mustang Week is having it's 1st Car Show this summer. I figured I'd better give you guys a heads up quickly. As some of you know, the Mustang Week Car Show has a limit of 300 cars. The pre-registration form is on the Mustang Week website (www.mustangweek.com). At the MW staff meeting yesterday, I found out that staff members will be handing out 10,000 MW flyers at several large events (FFW Atlanta, 40th Anniv, etc) between now and June. The limit of 300 is FIRM and will not be exceeded this year. If you were planning to be in the show, you had better get ahead of the game and get in the pre-registration. The trophies are going to be Top 50, with about 6 or 7 "Best ___".

This year's Mustang Week is going to be big!

OK, I'm going to make this suggestion once more (on this board only) because I'd like to see a bunch of SCMC cars in the show. We are in the progress of printing 10,000 flyers to begin handing out this weekend at Autofair and at the 40th. The Mustang Week show 300-car limit is going to be met quick. Pre-register quickly if you plan to show!

Brad,

SCMC will be posting Mustang Week on the front page of the SCMC website as an SCMC supported event. I cannot guarantee anything but I may try to shoot down there for one day. If I do, I'll be staying out of the beach area and will get a hotel further out.

P.S. I thought you couldn't make Autofair??

Thanks,

Tony

Unfortunately, I'm not going to be at the Autofair, but three other MW Staff members will be there. One will be w/ the SCMC!

Talking

Brad,

I do have all of the information for Mustang Week and I'll get Edmond to put it up there for you. I was waiting till after our 5th but not to worry, it'll be up there. Also, I have a date with my wife that weekend and I planned to come for one day but it looks like I will be somewhere else. Maybe next year?

I hope you all have a good time!

Tony

Tony,
I was hoping you'd make it down, but there is always next year! Things are really shaping up for the '04 Mustang Week. The "Week" was mentioned twice in the July edition of MM&FF. It's goning to be a lot of fun!

There are still plenty of spots open for the car show, so get registered soon if you plan on attending!
